Itinerary
DAILY DEPARTURE - Departs Cairns 10.00am, Returns to Cairns 5.30pm.
In addition to our range of included activities our experienced PADI dive instructors provide a safe environment to experience SCUBA diving for the first time. During your dive, you will be guided through all the necessary skills and taken on a route chosen by your dive instructor where you will see incredible healthy, vibrant coral and encounter some of the marine life who call Moore Reef home.
Our location at Moore Reef is renowned to be one of the most pristine sites and experiencing it by scuba diving is a moment you will remember forever!
Suitable for guests aged 12 years and over. (**Medical Conditions apply**)

• 8:30am – Check in starts @ Sunlover Cruises counter inside the Reef Fleet Terminal

Check-in Requirements:
• Check-in & collection of boarding passes required 08:30 -09:30 at the Sunlover Cruises desk inside the Reef Terminal at Cairns Marina.
• Boarding shall be denied without presentation of Sunlover Cruises issued pass.
• Passengers failing to check-in by 09:30 may miss final boarding.
Credit Card Payments / ID:
• Please bring the credit card used & Photo ID of cardholder for verification at check-in.
Cancellations:
• Amendments or cancellations must be requested a minimum of 24 hours prior departure. (48 hours for tours including helicopter flights)
• Cancellation on the day of travel including no show or late presentation for check-in 100% cancellation fee shall apply.
Optional Activities:
• Pre-booking recommended, sales onboard subject to availability
• Medical conditions apply for diving activities, please ensure you read the medical checklist of requirements for participation on our website.
Conditions of Travel:
• As part of our commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy environment, Sunlover Cruises has a non-smoking and non-vaping policy aboard our vessels and pontoon.

*Hand luggage is included in the overall weight for helicopter therefore is requested to be kept to a minimum.

FAQs
What do I need for check-in?
You will need your ID, which should match the credit card you booked with, and proof of local residency if you've booked a local's rate. Residency can be proven through an ID with an address, or a utility bill matching the name on the reservation.
How many people are on the Moore Reef Day Tour?
This varies every day. The maximum is approximately 300 people but most often is fewer. We have the largest boats in the fleet so we have plenty of space onboard.
What is your cancellation policy?
A 100% cancellation fee will be charged for independent passengers cancelling within 24 hours of departure. A 100% cancellation fee will be charged for groups* cancelling within 72 hours of departure.
Outside this period bookings can be amended or cancelled without penalty.
No cancellation charges will apply for passengers failing to travel due to:a) Ill health (medical certificate may be required);b) Minor changes to group numbers;c) Group or FIT passengers re-scheduling.
Should a cruise or package tour not operate for any reason, then an alternative date will be offered to the passenger. If an alternative date cannot be arranged then a full refund of monies paid to Sunlover Reef Cruises will be authorised. On the rare occasion where inclement weather prohibits a tour from operating the scheduled itinerary, an alternate itinerary will be offered to the passenger. If the passenger accepts this alternate itinerary then no further refunds will be authorised.
Seawalker and SCUBA Diving are subject to medical checklist. If medical is failed on-board no refund will be given for Seawalker or SCUBA dive options. Guests are advised to review medical checklists/requirements with their booking agent prior to booking. Minimum age for Seawalker and SCUBA diving is 12 years. Divers under 18 years of age must have a consenting parent or legal guardian with them in order to complete a Certified or Introductory SCUBA dive or a Seawalker Helmet dive.
Some package tours operate in conjunction with other tour operators and Sunlover acts as an agent for these companies. Conditions and cancellation policies for these tours are subject to operating conditions of these companies.
* A group means 10 or more passengers in one booking.

Will the sea conditions affect our day?
Sea conditions vary every day. The pontoon and catamaran are very stable and safe. If the rare occasion occurs and it is deemed that it isn't safe to operate due to sea conditions, passengers will be offered travel on an alternate day or will receive a refund.
Passengers who are prone to motion sickness are advised to take necessary precautions such as motion sickness medication prior to travel.
