Introductory Diving
Adult & Child (12yo+) $138.00
Introductory diving: maximum 4 divers per dive instructor. All gear supplied. No experience is needed — all gear, including wetsuits and a souvenir dive certificate, is provided. The Reef Magic pontoon offers a safe and controlled setting ideal for first-time divers. After practicing basic skills in a sheltered moon-pool, you’ll explore the coral lagoon in small groups of up to four divers per instructor. Your first dive lasts about 20–30 minutes at a maximum depth of 12 metres, with most of the time spent in shallow, vibrant coral gardens. Additional dives focus more on enjoying the reef, as the skills are already completed.
Certified Diving

Certified diving with Reef Magic is done in small groups with an expert dive master and all gear supplied. You can book up to three dives per day, subject to availability.
From the Reef Magic pontoon, a dedicated tender takes you to exclusive drift, wall and channel sites with swim-throughs, small caves, ledges and drop-offs — accessible only to Reef Magic guests.
With up to 5 hours on the reef, you can explore up to three different dive sites in a day. All dives are fully guided, with locations chosen based on conditions and experience. Bring your logbook — we’ll record your Great Barrier Reef adventure!
