FAQ – TANDEM SKYDIVE AUSTRALIA (UP TO 8,000FT & 15,000FT)
1. Weight Requirements
Maximum weight is 95kg. Guests weighing 95–115kg may be accepted with a surcharge and safety assessment. Weight limits may vary slightly depending on location and weather conditions.
2. Medical Conditions
All participants must be in good general health and able to follow instructor directions. Please advise of any heart, lung, back, neck, or respiratory problems. A medical clearance may be required for serious or recent medical conditions. Skydiving is not suitable during pregnancy.
3. Alcohol & Drugs
Strictly no alcohol or recreational drugs within 24 hours before your skydive. Guests under the influence will be refused for safety reasons and no refund will be provided.
4. After Scuba Diving
You must wait at least 24 hours after scuba diving before skydiving to prevent decompression sickness.
5. Clothing
Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes such as sneakers. Temperatures are cooler at altitude, so light layers are recommended.
6. Altitude & Experience
Jump from up to 8,000ft for about 10–20 seconds of freefall, or from up to 15,000ft for approximately 60 seconds of thrilling freefall before parachute deployment. Both options include a scenic descent and professional instructor guidance throughout the experience.
7. Insurance & Membership
All bookings include 3-month membership with the Australian Parachute Federation (APF) and compulsory Personal Accident Insurance, plus a personalised certificate of achievement after your jump.
8. Weather & Rescheduling
Skydives are weather dependent and may be delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled for safety due to strong winds, low visibility, or cloud cover. Please allow flexibility in your schedule.
